A good friend of mine does estate sales, and he found a burlap bag of it in one of the houses. There were six branches about as big as your thumb, and about ten inches long. It was imported by a company in New York back in the 90s. I added a small chunk to the last batch of pork butts I did, but the hickory and pecan I also used covered it's flavor. That's why I will use it exclusively this time. I have tried to see if I can get more of it, and I didn't find any sources. I did see people saying that they use the bark rolls in the smoker, so maybe that will have to do when my supply is gone.
